Dear Missions Partner,

 

First, we want to thank you so much for your support. We cannot express in words how much your participation in our lives means to us as we seek to serve God through being sent on missions. 

 

It is with heavy hearts that we must report to you, out of our responsibility to you as our partner, a change in our situation. Below is a letter explaining the update; please read it and join us in prayer. Please pause and proceed to read that letter now before continuing. 

 

We understand this is sudden, and we know we would wish it were any other way. We know this is not a surprise to God, and that His plan is greater than ours.

 

We want to commit this to you now; we are not giving up on being sent as missionaries. We will be taking stock, praying diligently, and seeking opportunities to glorify God by using the ways He has made us to serve Him as missionaries. We can commit to you that we are already praying over next steps and potential opportunities, which we hope to share with you in the near future as appropriate.

 

As for the funding we have raised, know that we have protected it and are stewarding it well. Nothing undue has happened to it. It is being held in trust at a partnering church 501 (c) (3); the charitable contribution is preserved. First, we ask that you stop giving to White Horse Missions on our behalf at this time. Second, if you have supported us financially, we ask that you prayerfully consider continuing to partner with us in the near future. All the missionary opportunities we are presently praying through all still involve fundraising in some capacity. But if you would like the money you have given to be used differently, please reach out to us as soon as you are able. We will respect your choice regardless. 

 

Thank you for your partnership with us. We do not see this as the end of the road, just a speed bump. We are still going on missions and still trusting God. Please continue to partner with us in prayer as we seek what’s next.

Happy April everyone! Starting out we wanted to thank everyone who has joined us this past month by agreeing to support us through prayer and/or giving. We are blessed to have God put people like you in our lives.


We have some praises we have to share with you all this month! Firstly, we have been able to raise $3k so far in just one month of raising support. We thank God for those who have decided to give to help support us as we leave for the field. God calls us to be stewards of what is His, and we thank you for giving to support the work that we and White Horse Missions are participating in in Central America.


Another praise is that during a May trip we are taking this year, we now have been blessed with 3 big opportunities. Firstly, we will get to visit the language school we are interested in attending while in Honduras to learn Spanish. This will give us a chance to take a look around and explore different options. Secondly, we will also get to meet with the organization involved in helping us attain our visa. This is a big deal as our ease of visa acquisition will directly affect our ability to establish a move date. Finally, we have been offered an opportunity to look at properties in Honduras so we can get an idea of what's available before we move. This way, we can make informed choices later on when were ready to move. All this will take place during our May trip down to Honduras with White Horse. Please join us in praying for these events.


For prayer requests, please keep us in prayer regarding some future meetings we have with potential financial supporters. Pray the Lord will give us wisdom as we navigate these discussions and pray that the Lords will will be done. Please also keep us in prayer as we seek to take opportunities for spiritual growth that are offered to us. We want to be continually seeking chances to grow to be more like Christ.
